Membership Refunds: Membership refunds are only permitted when there are extenuating circumstances and proper documentation. Proper documentation include a hold form, cancel form, or email to the membership director. If a member receives a scholarship and doesn't provide renewal documentation, they won't receive a refund. There is no refund for a partial month. Prepaid annual memberships are generally non refundable.
If you were incorrectly charged due to the YMCA’s failure to cancel or put the membership on hold, a full refund/credit will be given as long as the refund/credit is accompanied by proper documentation (i.e. hold form, cancel form, email, etc). Under any circumstances, the YMCA will not refund/credit more than six months of membership at any given time. All refunds are up to the discretion of the membership director.
Should You Terminate: We hope it never happens, but should you you terminate your membership, the Y requires members paying by an automatic draft to submit their written intent to terminate by the 10th of the month (for those drafted on the 15th of the month) or by the 25th of the month (for those drafted on the 1st of the month) in order to make your cancellation effective. Cancellation forms are available at the Welcome Center.
