CURRENT CLASSES AVAILABLE INCLUDE:

Body Pump: Barbell class that shapes, tones, and strengthens your entire body with high repetition moves.

Suspension Fit: TRX Suspension Training makes gravity your resistance using training straps so adjusting the level of difficulty is as easy as moving your hands or feet and progression is limitless. Great for strength and balance.

Strength: Strength involves bursts of high-intensity work with periods of low intensity work. You will experience an intense aerobic workout and strength training with a variety of equipment. Combines agility and cross training along with weight lifting to keep the calories burning even after class. Modify for your level and experience. Each class is different.

Sweat: This class focuses on endurance strength training using a combination of free weights, resistance bands, barbells, and more to target different muscle groups in each class.

Active Older Adults: Strengthen muscles and increase range of movement in a fun social environment that includes cardio and toning.

Arthritis Aquatics: Water exercises designed to improve joint flexibility and relieve pain and stiffness. It is not necessary to know how to swim.

Water Walking: Water walking is all about moving in the water using the water as your resistance. This class can be as easy or as hard as you make it!

Hot Yoga: This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower-paced movements focusing on alignment, stretch, balance, and flexibility. This class is heated to approximately 95-100 degrees with 45-55% humidity. The combination of heat and humidity will allow for the body to open, stretch, and restore. No experience or flexibility is required. Participants are encouraged to bring water and a yoga towel. Reservations encouraged.

Rhythm: Go all in for a 30 minute full body workout moving to the beat of the rhythm. Using weighted ripsticks and high intensity song choreography, you'll be sure to increase strength, flexibility and balance.

Rock Steady Boxing: Rock Steady Boxing enables individuals living with Parkinson's Disease to fight back by noncontact boxing inspired classes that improve their quality of life.

Yoga: Improve flexibility practicing various physical postures, breathing techniques, and sometimes meditation to promote physical and emotional wellbeing.

Group Cycling: Build your endurance, strength, and heart health as you experience bursts of speed and recovery periods on a stationary bike.

Kickboxing: Cardio Kickboxing is a total body workout that involves utilizing multiple muscle groups to elevate the heart rate and train participants in speed, agility, and quickness.

Max Interval Training: Hi-Lo interval training fast paced for the early bird!

Zumba Tone: Aerobic Latin inspired dance class with a touch of hip hop and various toning exercises included.

Forever Fit: A low impact class in a fun social environment to work on upper and lower body strength, balance, and flexibility. Increase your range of movement for daily life- 50 years of age and older.

Tone and Sculpt Barre: Full body toning for all fitness levels that fuses yoga, pilates, strength training, and ballet targeting specific muscles and improving flexibility.

Turn Up Fitness: Full body cardio workout using aerobic dance to tone body and burn calories.

Intro to Hot Yoga: This class is geared toward those who are new to hot yoga or yoga in general. This class incorporates simple, slower flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower-paced movements focusing on alignment, stretch, balance, and flexibility. Each class will end with an extended period of relaxation. The room is heated to approx. 95-100 degrees and 40-45% humidity for a vigorous practice. The combination of the heat and humidity will allow the body to open, stretch and restore from the inside-out. Each class will help link breath and movement, deepen the connection of mind and body, and bring a greater consciousness to your subtle body. Participants are encouraged to bring water and a yoga towel. Reservations encouraged.

Line Dance Basics: This class is for all fitness levels. Learn the basics of new and classic line dances in this fun class that feels more like a party than a workout.

Restorative Yoga: Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Appropriate for all levels, restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing.

YOUTH WELLNESS ORIENTATION

The Youth Wellness Orientation will introduce your child to the Wellness Center and provide info on how the YMCA fits into their goals of becoming a healthier person. Youth are required to attend one 1 hour class. Classes will include both classroom and Wellness Center portions. Upon completion, participants will receive a wristband that will allow the 12-14 age range to use the Wellness Center independently(written doctors statement is still required). Participants must be the required age at time of registration. This free class is an added benefit for youth members who are interested in learning how to safety and effectively use the Wellness Center to improve their physical wellness. Maximum number per class is 12 participants. There is a minimum of 4 participants in order for a class to be held.
