New members pay a one-time joining fee of $30 per unit (individual, family, etc) when they join.  If you cancel your membership or let it lapse, you will be charged the join fee again.

Member Code of Conduct: Upon joining the Hopkins County Family YMCA, you will be required to sign our Member Code of Conduct.  Please review for your understanding.

No one is turned away from the Hopkins County Family YMCA due to inability to pay.  Download a Financial Assistance application and return to the Y if you are unable to pay the full membership and/or program fee.  Photo ID must be provided by anyone 18 and older.  Proof of income must be submitted with the application in order for the application to be processed.

Membership Refunds: There is no refund for a partial month.  Refunds are not available for those paying on a monthly basis.  

Should You Terminate: We hope it never happens, but should you you terminate your membership, the Y requires members paying by an automatic draft to submit their written intent to terminate by the 10th of the month (for those drafted on the 15th of the month) or by the 25th of the month (for those drafted on the 1st of the month) in order to make your cancellation effective.  Cancellation forms are available at the Welcome Center.


ANNUAL FEE: $600  (OR $50/MO)

A married couple and their dependent children under the age of 23 (children must be unmarried). When visiting the facility, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. *Additional adults residing in the same household can be added for a fee of $20.00/month. Proof of residency is required. 4 adults total.


ANNUAL FEE: $540  (OR $45/MO)

One unmarried adult and dependent children under the age of 23 (children must be unmarried). When visiting the facility, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. *Additional adults residing in the same household can be added for a fee of $20.00/month. Proof of residency is required. 4 adults total.


ANNUAL FEE: $456  (OR $38/MO)

Persons 18 – 59 years old (has use of complete YMCA facility)


ANNUAL FEE: $300  (OR $25/MO)

Persons 0–17 years old (has use of first floor only and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 15 can not be in the cardio or weight rooms without a parent and written doctor’s permission.)


ANNUAL FEE: $444  (OR $37/MO)

Persons 60 years old and up (has use of complete facility)


ANNUAL FEE: $528  (OR $44/MO)

A married couple with one being at least 60 years old

24 Hour Access

Allows access to cardio and weight rooms after staffed hours. Key fob required. (Must be 18.) Additional $3.00/month.




The YMCA is fortunate to have a number of companies actively participating in the health and wellness of their employees. If your employer is listed below, you are eligible for a membership subsidy. Because proof of company eligibility is required, corporate memberships cannot be conducted online. Please call your local YMCA center to determine your employer’s proof of eligibility requirements, then simply visit the Welcome Center desk to be placed in your company’s “Group.”

Insurance-Based Third-Party Memberships

Various health insurance policies provide fitness center benefit access. The Hopkins County Family YMCA partners with several companies. Membership through a third-party insurance policy provides all the basic Y membership benefits. The difference is YOU pay NOTHING to us. The Y bills the third party based on your usage for partial reimbursement of regular membership dues. Benefits vary depending on the policy.

Our Y contracts with the following third-party providers:

To get started, contact the Customer Service number on the back of your insurance card. Ask a representative if you have a “WELLNESS FACILITY BENEFIT”. If your insurance company representative names one of the programs listed above, you should be eligible at our location.

Please ask for the following information:

• Name of the benefit

• Member I.D./Fitness I.D. numbers

• Eligibility date(s)

• Is there an enrollment or monthly fee paid to the third-party provider?

You will need to share this information with a Welcome Center Staff. A photo I.D. is required. Upon verification, you will be asked to fill out the proper forms. Benefits and participation can change after enrollment periods or based on contracts and pricing that your insurance receives from these third-party providers. We regularly conduct eligibility checks and discontinue access based on third parties feedback. If your insurance changes, please contact us immediately.
